Privacy Policy
Corridor Collective ("Corridor Collective," "we," "us," or "our") operates a private cowork space in San Marcos, Texas and the related website at corridorcollective.work. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information directly from you when you interact with our services:
- Lease application: name, email, phone, company name, business type, team size, preferred suite, lease term, requested move-in date, additional notes, and how you heard about us.
- Conference room booking: name, email, phone, company name, booking date and time, optional notes.
- Tenant portal: the email associated with your active lease, plus any maintenance requests you submit.
- Payment information: we don't store credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe processes payments and stores those details. We retain a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits / brand of any saved payment method.
- Waitlist: email and optional name.
- Automatically collected: IP address, user agent, page activity (via standard server logs), and basic Cloudflare-provided geolocation (country) used for security filtering.
- Security cameras: our premises at 1911 Corporate Drive, Suite 103 use 24/7 interior and exterior security cameras for the safety of tenants and the building. Footage is retained for a limited period and reviewed only for security incidents.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To process your lease application, conference room booking, or waitlist signup.
- To collect payment, manage your subscription, and remit refunds.
- To send transactional emails: signing links, payment receipts, renewal reminders, maintenance updates.
- To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to our services.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Information Sharing
Mobile Information: We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS communications are used only to send the transactional and informational messages you requested.
We share personal information only with service providers we use to deliver our services:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, edge security, and DNS.
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- Cloudflare Workers AI: powers the website chat assistant on our public pages. See Website chat below.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate visitor analytics so we can understand how the site is used. Google may set cookies and collect device / referrer information; their handling is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- HubSpot — tour-request form on the /tour page. Information you submit there (name, email, phone, message) is sent directly to HubSpot for follow-up. HubSpot may set its own cookies and collect device / referrer information; their handling is governed by HubSpot's privacy policy.
- Google Maps: the home page embeds a map of our address at 1911 Corporate Drive, San Marcos. Google may collect technical information, such as your IP address, under Google's privacy policy.
- San Marcos Chamber of Commerce: the home page loads a membership badge script from sanmarcostexas.chambermaster.com.
- Twilio: phone line and text messages. Calls to (737) 373-4153 are answered by an automated assistant. This website does not receive or store call audio, call transcripts, or the text of those messages.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of our tenants or the public.
4. Cookies
Cookies and similar storage used on this site are listed below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block cookies, the tenant portal may not stay signed in. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.
cc_session(first-party): keeps tenant portal users signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite-Lax.cc_acct(first-party): keeps member accounts signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite-Lax.- Google Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*): set by Google Analytics 4, which we load on our pages, so we can understand how the site is used. - HubSpot cookies: the tour page at /tour loads a HubSpot form. HubSpot may set its own cookies on that page.
Some pages also use your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage for site features:
- Conference room booking page: sessionStorage holds the booking amount, and localStorage holds a one-time marker, so a completed booking is reported once to Google Analytics.
- Admin: localStorage holds a sign-in token and menu preferences. sessionStorage remembers when a notification prompt was dismissed.
- Chat widget: sessionStorage holds a per-visit conversation id so the messages from that visit stay in one conversation.
This browser storage is not used for advertising.
5. Website chat
Messages you type into the chat assistant are processed by an AI model to answer questions about Corridor Collective. We save each conversation so staff can review questions and improve answers. A saved conversation includes the messages, the time it started, the time of the last activity, the page URL, and a coarse browser label such as Chrome / Windows. If you ask to talk to a person, we also save the name, contact information, and question you provide, and we email those, along with the conversation, to our staff. A daily job deletes each conversation 60 days after its last activity. No IP addresses are stored with chat logs.
6. SMS / Text Messaging
If you opt in to receive SMS messages from Corridor Collective, you consent to receive text messages related to booking confirmations, access and visit information, tenant and property notices, and replies to your inquiries. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at hello@corridorcollective.work. For full SMS program details, see our SMS Terms.
Your mobile phone number and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Data Retention
- Active tenant records, lease agreements, payments: retained for the duration of the lease plus seven (7) years for tax and legal record-keeping.
- Unsuccessful applications: retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.
- Conference room bookings: retained for 3 years for accounting and dispute resolution.
- Waitlist: retained until you ask to be removed.
- Server access logs: 30 days.
- Website chat conversations: deleted by the daily job 60 days after the last activity.
- Security camera footage: typically 30 days unless involved in an incident.
8. Your Rights (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act + general)
Texas residents have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information, subject to retention requirements above.
- Port your information to another service.
- Opt-out of any sale (we do not sell personal information) or targeted advertising (we do not engage in targeted advertising).
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@corridorcollective.work from the email address on file. We will respond within 45 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Security
We protect your information using HTTPS in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our service providers, geographic access controls, audit logging of administrative actions, rate-limited public endpoints, and follow-the-principle-of-least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure; please notify us immediately at hello@corridorcollective.work if you suspect a security issue.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active tenants and posted on this page with an updated effective date.
