Privacy Policy

Corridor Collective ("Corridor Collective," "we," "us," or "our") operates a private cowork space in San Marcos, Texas and the related website at corridorcollective.work. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you when you interact with our services:

  • Lease application: name, email, phone, company name, business type, team size, preferred suite, lease term, requested move-in date, additional notes, and how you heard about us.
  • Conference room booking: name, email, phone, company name, booking date and time, optional notes.
  • Tenant portal: the email associated with your active lease, plus any maintenance requests you submit.
  • Payment information: we don't store credit card numbers or bank account details. Stripe processes payments and stores those details. We retain a Stripe customer ID and the last four digits / brand of any saved payment method.
  • Waitlist: email and optional name.
  • Automatically collected: IP address, user agent, page activity (via standard server logs), and basic Cloudflare-provided geolocation (country) used for security filtering.
  • Security cameras: our premises at 1911 Corporate Drive use 24/7 interior and exterior security cameras for the safety of tenants and the building. Footage is retained for a limited period and reviewed only for security incidents.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process your lease application, conference room booking, or waitlist signup.
  • To collect payment, manage your subscription, and remit refunds.
  • To send transactional emails: signing links, payment receipts, renewal reminders, maintenance updates.
  • To respond to your inquiries and provide support.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to our services.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Information Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers we use to deliver our services:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, edge security, and DNS.
  • Stripe — payment processing. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights and safety of our tenants or the public.

4. Cookies

We use a single first-party cookie (cc_session) to keep tenant portal users signed in. It is HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite-Lax. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

  • Active tenant records, lease agreements, payments: retained for the duration of the lease plus seven (7) years for tax and legal record-keeping.
  • Unsuccessful applications: retained for 12 months unless you request earlier deletion.
  • Conference room bookings: retained for 3 years for accounting and dispute resolution.
  • Waitlist: retained until you ask to be removed.
  • Server access logs: 30 days.
  • Security camera footage: typically 30 days unless involved in an incident.

6. Your Rights (Texas Data Privacy and Security Act + general)

Texas residents have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Delete personal information, subject to retention requirements above.
  • Port your information to another service.
  • Opt-out of any sale (we do not sell personal information) or targeted advertising (we do not engage in targeted advertising).

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@corridorcollective.work from the email address on file. We will respond within 45 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Security

We protect your information using HTTPS in transit, encrypted storage at rest with our service providers, geographic access controls, audit logging of administrative actions, rate-limited public endpoints, and follow-the-principle-of-least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure; please notify us immediately at hello@corridorcollective.work if you suspect a security issue.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active tenants and posted on this page with an updated effective date.
